"The first time I walked inside of the Kern Literacy Council I was shocked and amazed to find that everyone in there were so nice and excited to help me. From the beginning of my tutoring all the way to the end, I did not have confidence in my self or my abilities but Gaby and Elizabeth did. I didn't believe that I would pass my my GED because of my anxiety and nerves, but with the help of my great tutor giving me the knowledge and understanding I needed to get through the test, I did pass.
